Questions about early treatment

Why age 7?

The American Association of Orthodontists suggests a first check around then, because enough adult teeth are in to spot a problem while the jaw is still growing.

Does every child need it?

No. Most of the seven-year-olds we see need nothing but a yearly check, and we tell parents exactly that.

Is the check really free?

Yes, including the photos and the conversation. There is no charge and no referral needed.

The first consultation is free.

Photos, a digital scan, a plan and a written quote. No charge, no referral, no pressure to start.
